B: LAB & INSTRUMENT STERILIZATION - 1 Viewing
The main building's basement is where the lab and instrument sterilization are located. The lab tests samples and sends results to the doctors, while instrument sterilization makes sure surgical instruments are, well, sterile enough for surgery.

F1: ER
First floor. The ER (Emergency Room) is where all emergency patients come for an initial examination. Some are treated and sent home, while some are admitted to a specialized unit.

F2: OR
Second floor. If you need surgery, this is where you're coming. They do everything from the most basic appendectomy, to the complicated transplants. After surgery, you're taken to the PACU (post-anesthesia care unit- recovery room) to make sure all is well.

F3: ICU - 1 Viewing
Third floor. There are several ICUs, depending on the patient's specific condition. There's the Trauma ICU for trauma patients, the Medical ICU for severe illnesses, and Surgical ICU for severe injuries. All offer intense observation for the most critical patients.

F4: PSYCHIATRICS - 1 Viewing
Fourth floor. For anyone admitted with a psychiatric illness, there's the psych unit, where psychiatrists will work to try to correct whatever the problem might be, through therapy and/or medication.

F5: PALLIATIVE CARE - 1 Viewing
Fifth floor. Unfortunately, there are sometimes patients that are simply terminal. For those patients, there's the palliative care unit, where they will receive no more treatment, but instead be kept comfortable in hotel-style rooms, until they pass away.
